JM
John-Michael (JM) is a native New Yorker with a passion for design and photography. For the past 13 years JM has worked in various studios in NYC. Over the course of his career he has worked for global companies such as Coca-Cola, Colgate-Palmolive, Danone, Pi-Global, International Flavors & Fragrances, WHP-Global, as well as as start-ups and tech companies. This has given him a well rounded understanding of global consumer packaging, branding, and strategy. He pulls inspiration from his other passions such as photography and applies them to design. With a strong eye for composition and layout it makes sense that his camera is like an extension of his arm. Inspired by music he combines typography and illustration to create experimental type and as a 5 time participator of 36 days of type, he clearly accepts the challenge of creating something new every day. His passions do not stop there. A denim head to the bone, he created The Daily Chore, which highlights denim & workwear to help inspire people to be comfortable in their style and not to be afraid to take risks and explore. He was recently featured in a campaign for Lee 101 Jeans and has been featured in publications such as Rivet Magazine, Clutch Magazine and No Chaser Magazine.
